Creating a Culture of Consent at Work

To help workplaces across Manitoba build safer cultures where sexual harassment is unwelcome, we’ve designed a cost-free in-person workplace training session, Creating a Culture of Consent at Work.

  • Identifying and discussing the underlying issues that may lead to harmful Workplace Sexual Harassment

  • Developing a culture of "Consent at Work" that encourages respect and understanding in the workplace

  • Highlighting effective skills for bystander intervention

  • Learning how to better support staff who have disclosed, or wish to disclose, experiences of Workplace Sexual Harassment

  • Navigating the local resource map of Workplace Sexual Harassment support available for Manitobans

This session is ideal for all sectors (including private, government, corporate, business and NGOs) and is designed for all employees (including frontline workers, leadership, HR professionals, etc.) at a workplace to participate in together. We believe everyone within a workplace influences its culture and that it is critical to do this work together.
